Since thanksgiving doesn’t exist in Denmark, it’s basically the holiday season by November. The Christmas markets opened mid November and I could not be any happier!
The Christmas markets are a great place to go with friends. There’s many different lights and decorations along with many things you can sample along the way. If you need to buy Christmas essentials such as ornaments the Christmas market would be a great place to start.
I tried the roasted almonds for the first time at the Christmas market and I highly recommend. They were soo good, especially during a cold day.
Me and my friend sampled different cheese at a booth . I was totally obsessed with the Gouda cheese it was dangerously delicious. I bought a little block and ate about half of it before I could go home to make a sandwich out of it. (Oops)
I loved seeing the city light up with holiday decorations , it was very uplifting getting a taste of the holiday season in Denmark.
